01 / Overview

Behind the interface.

A flower and gift commerce platform for Blooms Point, built with a Next.js 16, React 19 and TypeScript storefront on Medusa v2 and PostgreSQL. Payload CMS manages content, Tailwind CSS shapes the responsive interface, and a separate Next.js staff dashboard connects online orders with branch operations.

02 / Implementation

What makes it work.

  1. Flower and gift categories, product variants, carts and wishlists, with Typesense search and CMS-managed storefront content.

  2. Delivery dates and time windows, gift messages and server-side availability checks evaluated in Manila time.

  3. Hosted checkout with server-side payment verification and transaction audit trails.

  4. Guest order tracking and order timelines, with branch assignments, delivery details and proof of delivery.

  5. Branch-scoped staff tools for POS, inventory, stock counts and transfers, production recipes and queues, and reports.

  6. Redis-backed commerce services, S3-compatible media storage and a dedicated Node.js webhook service.
